We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in retail or supermarket fit-out to join a well-established contractor delivering high-profile refurbishment and fast-track fit-out schemes across the UK.

This is a national role, so flexibility to travel and stay away during the week is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations on live retail fit-out projects
Manage subcontractors, site teams, and ensure work is delivered safely and on time
Ensure all works are completed to high quality standards in line with client expectations
Coordinate logistics, site access, and manage tight deadlines
Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
Liaise regularly with the client, project managers, and internal teams

Requirements:

Proven experience in retail or supermarket fit-out (essential)
Flexibility to work UK-wide, including staying away from home
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and tight programmes
